Biography

Dr. Muhammad Ramzan Pahore has been serving as Assistant Professor and Head of Department (HoD) Media & Communication in Sukkur IBA University of Pakistan. Before joining Sukkur IBA University, Dr. Ramzan has vast Teaching & Research experience. He has been associated with University of Sindh, Jamshoro since 2008 first as Lecturer and then as Assistant Professor of Media and Communication Studies for 14 years. In addition, Dr Ramzan also Served as a Visiting Lecturer at Asian Institute of Cambodia for one semester. Dr. Ramzan has earned Doctorate degree (PhD) in Communication from School of Multimedia Technology and Communication (SMMTC) University Utara Malaysia. He has participated/ presented his research papers in an international and national conferences in Malaysia, Indonesia, China and Pakistan. Besides, Dr has published 24 research papers in reputable Web of Science, Scopus and peer reviewed journals. His field of specializations are Online Journalism, Mobile Journalism, Print Media, Social Media, Mass Media and Society and News Consumption. Dr. Ramzan is an associate Editor of Journal the Messenger is a Scientific Journal, Web of Science and peered review journal published by the Department of Communication, FTIK, Universitas Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia and reviewer of many HEC recognized Journals. Dr. Ramzan is also a HEC approved Supervisor in the discipline of Arts and Humanities.
