Master's Degree in Economy, Management and Innovation

Introduction

The Master's Degree in Economy, Technology and Innovation provides students with a strong theoretical background as well as practical skills.
Sukkur IBA University (SIBAU) and Unitelma Sapienza (US) has successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Terms of Agreement for the online Degree “Master Degree in Economy, Management and Innovation” (Annexure-I). This initiative of cooperation is aligned with the vision and mission of SIBAU to provide our community a technology driven innovative education that may uplift them with enhanced entrepreneurial skill set and job opportunities. This initiative is also consistent with the current SIBAU policy of Internationalization and getting International Accreditations such as AACSB.
The cooperation envisages to offer online Master degree of two (02) year duration in “Economy, Management and Innovation”. The degree certificates will be conferred by the SIBAU. The degree certificates will state the Degree is in cooperation with the Unitelma Sapienza while only the Chancellor of SIBAU will sign transcripts to successful candidates. The examination board shall meet at the end of the two-year program, the board shall comprise of at least one member of the faculty of each institution. The program will be governed by the “program management committee”, which include one program coordinator from both partnering institutions. Program Coordinator terms of reference (ToRs) include:

  1. Program Coordinator will be representing Sukkur IBA University int the joint "Program Management Committee" constituted under Terms of Agreement for Degree "Master Degree in Economy, Management and Innovation" with Unitelma Sapienza.
  2. Program Coordinator shall look after day-to-day operations of the program.
  3. Program Coordinator shall conduct meetings with Unitelma Sapienza counterpart either face to face or by conference calls.
  4. Program Coordinator will monitor and approve the related policy, advertisement, facility management and delivery of the teaching curricula.
  5. Program Coordinator will meet with Unitelma counterpart at least once a year to confirm tuition fees (in line with Unitelma Sapienza and SIBAU's tuition fees policy) and any additional examination, labs, and field trip fees and decide appropriate recommendations for future applications.
  6. Program Coordinator will coordinate and will be responsible for the corresponding part of the program within the degree.
