The students coming from the rural and backward areas require special coaching so that they can have access to the quality education and skills. For this purpose community based service centers in the backward districts established with the support of Sindh Government. The centers are called community colleges.These community colleges are established in the following districts of Sindh:
 
1. Jacobabad
2. Dadu
3. NaushahroFeroze
4. KhairpurMirs
 
These districts have been identified because they are surrounded by backward districts of Sindh. The total population of these districts is10.4433 million (source: population welfare department Government of Sindh,youth (15-35years) are about 40 % of the total population).
 
IBA Community Colleges are affiliated with Agha Khan University Examinationa Board (AKU) and Pakistan Montessory Council, Islamabad. All collegs are well-equipped with the state of the art buildings, science laboratories, classrooms, library, computer labs, play grounds, uninteruppted power supply, video conferencing facility and boarding facility for the students as well as faculty members.
