3D Animation & Visual Effects Awareness Seminar
Holding degrees in your hands is just not enough, but it should be affiliated with some sort of skill, which makes you people market worthy, said the Vice Chancellor Sukkur Institute of Business Administration University Professor Nisar Ahmed Siddiqui, while talking to the participants of Awareness Seminar on 3D Animation and Visual Effects, held on Saturday at the auditorium, in collaboration with Microvision School of Animation. The free seminar was aimed at to brief the students about the dynamics of 3D animation and to encourage them to get admission in six-month or one-year diploma, which is going to start in the first week of September. The Vice Chancellor in his speech said, no doubt degrees are essential, but if we think that, degrees alone could prove beneficial for us, we are mistaken. Degree along with skill paves way for better jobs in the market, he added saying, as now a days market is looking for the degree holders, who also possess some skill. Today is the happy moment for me to see that, the Sukkur IBA University is offering yet another diploma in 3D animation and I hope that, the youth taking its full advantage, will learn the techniques and secure their future. The Registrar Sukkur IBA University Engineer Zahid Hussain Khan in his address viewed that, the diploma in 3D animation is a skill, which can provide jobs in the market. With the changing trends of the market, this particular diploma has the potential to win over jobs in the market, he said. He said, it is quite interesting that, some of the animators are working in the film industry of Hollywood. And that’s why I can say that, the future of the film industry lies in the modern techniques of animation, he remarked. According to him, earlier such courses were only available in the metropolis and it’s the first time that, we are offering this diploma at Sukkur IBA University. After completing six months or one year diploma, the students can use certain soft wares according to the requirement, he added. In his presentation, Sameer Jalali from School of Animation, Microvision briefed the students about various aspects of the visual effects and animation, while Faaiz Ahmed Siddiqui presented his work, which he is doing for some of his clients in Sukkur.
